Reporting to the Manager of Staff Learning and Development, you will have the opportunity to contribute your innovative and strategic ideas to enhance team Learning and Development. Key Responsibilities:
• Program Development: Unleash your creativity by designing and delivering captivating learning content, including e-learning modules, workshops, and blended learning solutions that meet regulatory compliance and competency standards
• Training Needs Analysis: Dive deep into training needs analyses to pinpoint performance gaps and skill deficiencies, ensuring that every program is both relevant and impactful
• Facilitation: Bring your facilitation skills to life by engaging diverse audiences in-person and online, driving employee engagement and enhancing their learning journeys
• Impact Assessment: Measure the effectiveness of training initiatives, evaluating their influence on employee skills and key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to create meaningful training materials and promote available programs
• Learning Management: Take the reins of the Learning Management System (LMS), tracking employee progress and maintaining precise training records and curriculum databases
• Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of the curve by researching and recommending innovative training methods and technologies that elevate the learning experience
Qualifications:
•Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) or working towards it, or an equivalent qualification
•A certification in instructional design or a related field is a definite plus!
Knowledge and Skills:
•Minimum 3 years of experience in blended facilitation methods, showcasing your versatility
•Masterful competency in all facets of learning and development, including facilitation, design, operations, and systems
•Strong depth of experience in adult learning principles and facilitation, preferably from construction, manufacturing, mining, or trades, or from a variety of industries
•Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to communicate, coach, guide, and influence with ease
•Proficiency in content design and e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Rise 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint/Canva)
•Experience with digital and virtual platforms for delivering learning programs, with familiarity in virtual training tools being a bonus
•Strong written and verbal communication skills to captivate your audience
•A collaborative spirit with the ability to recognise and enhance impacts through teamwork
•A proactive mindset aligned with organizational strategy and values
•Solid skills in Microsoft Office products
•Understanding of conducting training needs analyses to identify performance gaps and skill deficiencies
• Familiarity with adult learning theories and principles is a fantastic bonus
•A commitment to integrating a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) perspective into learning development and facilitation
