About the Role:
The Product Specialist is pivotal in designing, delivering, and optimising long-term and tactical growth plans. Working across sales, innovation, and marketing teams, this role focuses on defining and implementing customer-specific offerings, leading product launches, and driving promotional campaigns. The Product Specialist also governs the strategic direction of key customer-facing product categories and brands.
Key Responsibilities
·Develop and execute category plans aligned with market trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis
·Lead product positioning, differentiation, benchmarking, intellectual property management, and launch strategies
·Collaborate with sales teams and customers to ensure product relevance, performance, and resolution of issues
·Oversee all product lifecycle activities
·Act as the company's product expert in forums, focusing on sustainability, innovation, and evolving consumer demands
·Create and deliver product training tools and sessions for internal teams
·Analyse market trends and competitor insights to drive product innovation and development
·Ensure product certifications and compliance standards are met
·Work with marketing teams to deliver impactful product assets and demand-generation campaigns
·Build strong internal and external relationships to drive exceptional service delivery
Skills and experience:
·5+ years experience in marketing, brand management, business development, or sales (B2B preferred)
·Exceptional ability to absorb and interpret technical information
·Superior writing and communication skills
·Proven track record of engaging stakeholders and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
·Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce, InDesign, or Photoshop is a plus
·A proactive, energetic, and quality-driven mindset
