We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Project Manager, to join an industry leading construction company up North within their Northern Territory based team.
With a focus on managing, leading, coaching and mentoring colleagues to contribute to the ongoing training and development of the Engineering and Construction team; the role of Project Manager would be the perfect fit for someone wanting to make a lasting impact within the company as well as individual projects in structural engineering.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Autonomously manage project team members and ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities to ensure project execution on site exceeds the client's expectations
• Review project site reports, designs, and drawings to ensure all project requirements as detailed are completed.
• Monitor works progression against program and notify Management of potential variations and extension of time claims and delays.
• Support in the negotiation of contracts and the securing of permits and licences necessary to complete the works.
• Monitor site costs ensuring efficient use of materials and time resources, assessing the project's forecast and commercial performance.
• Communicate regularly with Clients and stakeholder providing detailed updates on project progress, responding to queries and providing clarifications.
• Ensure toolbox meetings and other communications relevant to the project occur as required
• Undertake activities in compliance with Company policies, standards, procedures, and relevant acts/legislation, ensuring the safety of all parties
Skills & Experience:
• Formal Tertiary and preferably advanced education in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
• Ability to read and understand project documentation such as drawings and contract documents
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft professional suite including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, ERP systems and project management platforms
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to articulate information to a variety of stakeholders
• Hold a current White Card, First Aid Certificate, DCSI and Defence Clearance, or ability to obtain
