About the role:
Davies Stewart are proud be partnering with their client Wine Energy to recruit a Salesperson.
Founded in 2008, Wine Energy Pty Ltd is an integral part of the Australian wine industry and is one of the most pre-eminent suppliers of winemaking equipment to Australian wine growers.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of the wine industry here in South Australia, preferably knowledge based around the types of machinery used in the wine industry.
Ideally, this role will begin after vintage this season (April 2025), however, we are happy to secure candidates before the vintage kicks off this season coming.

Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to sell winemaking equipment and machinery from Wine Energy.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients in the wine industry to ensure ongoing business and customer satisfaction.
· Work with the Wine Energy team to gather necessary details and develop accurate, competitive quotations.
· Present quotations and proposals to clients, addressing any questions or concerns to secure further work.
· Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities.
· Provide regular feedback to management on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
· Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Skills & Experience:
· Experience in the wine industry
· Technical understanding of machinery in the wine industry (Preferable)
· Must be willing to travel for this role
· Willing to keep updated on the latest machinery and research in the field
· Must be customer and solution oriented.
· Relevant experience within customer service.
· Ability to problem solve and solution focused
· High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Experience in negotiating and closing deals
· Attentive and a good listener
