About the Role:
Davies Stewart are partnering with McMahon Services to recruit for a Civil Site Supervisor. As a Site Supervisor, you will report to the Project Manager and the Construction Manager and be responsible for working on project criteria, establishing project standards and overall project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to site personnel ensuring project team work efficiently and effectively, with team members covering roles in other jobs when necessary
Daily Site Diary updating and reporting of program impacts, client instructions, resourcing, plant usage, weather impacts and site issues
Check designs and details on plans, any ambiguity to be followed up and resolved with the relevant authority
Coordinate subcontractor planning to ensure adherence to project completion project and minimise operational conflicts
Assess plant and labour resource requirements for project and communicate recommendations to Direct Line Manager
Submission of delays, claims, variations and notices to clients in accordance with document
Manage project industrial relations, liaising with the Project Manager where required
Support toolbox meetings and other communications relevant to the project occur as required
Skills & Experience:
Construction/Civil trade qualified, with knowledge of construction processes, health, and safety procedures
Minimum of 5 years construction industry experience.
Hold a current first aid accreditation, a current driver's license, current police and DCSI clearance, or ability to obtain one
Demonstrated experience in Management of all site activities for the whole of the project, including construction scheduling and managing construction sites
Ability to identify, manage and resolve issues as they arise during the course of a project
Understand drawings and contract documents
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Competency in basic suite of software (e.g., Microsoft professional suite)
Have good understanding of Australian Standards (AS)
