About the Role:
Are you an experienced and strategic HR professional looking for an opportunity to lead and shape the people and culture function within a well-established and respected organisation? Hindmarsh Plumbing is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their dynamic team and play a key role in driving HR strategies that support their business objectives.
As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring the delivery of best-practice HR solutions across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (Hindmarsh Plumbing) and working closely with the Sarah Group Chief People Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the workforce and maintaining a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with the Director of People & Performance
•Advise the Group Chief People Officer on issues, opportunities and risks with relation to Human Resources practices
•Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals
•Drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives
•Lead employee engagement, training, and development programs
•Be the custodian of learning and development at Hindmarsh Plumbing
•Provide guidance on performance management, industrial relations, and compliance
•Oversee the salary review process and remuneration frameworks
•Support managers in building high-performing teams
•Manage HR policies, procedures, and compliance with employment legislation
•Ensure a seamless offboarding process and effective succession planning
•Partner with the Sarah Group HR teams for collaboration and mentorship
Skills & Experience:
•Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, including discretion and confidentiality
•Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
•Proven experience in an HR leadership role within a commercial, construction, or trade-based environment desirable
•Strong knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and HR best practices
•Ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support business objectives
•Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
•Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to people management
•High level of commercial awareness and business acumen
•A current SA Driver's Licence
