About the Role:
This role is pivotal in enabling the effective application of regulatory and enforcement options available to ReturnToWorkSA, including ensuring the quality, compliance, and defensibility of matters pursued under the Remissions and Supplementary Payments Scheme (RASP). Key responsibilities include overseeing the formulation of commitments under the RASP and the successful application of supplementary payments , driving regulatory impact by timely and appropriate action, and maintaining robust frameworks, processes, policies, and programs that support business objectives and ensure the success of the Scheme. The role also involves providing well-rounded, comprehensive advice that carefully considers all relevant aspects and inter-relationships, ensuring alignment with both regulatory requirements and organisational goals.
Duties:
•Lead the negotiation of commitments and the governance of monitoring compliance
•Prepare high-quality findings, administrative letters, correspondence and briefing and decision papers for identified non-compliances
•Support effective governance and risk management on Enforcement activities
•Maintain Enforcement governance materials
•Contribute to Enforcement policy and operational program design and delivery
•Provide Enforcement policy advice and guidance
•Assist with the delivery of training to Claims Agents
•Build effective relationships with key stakeholders
Skills and experience:
•Relevant undergraduate qualification (or higher) in law, human resources, behavioural sciences, governance, or personal injury
•Experience in regulatory, industrial, administrative, and/or personal injury environments
•Strong understanding and application of legislation (preferably in a regulatory environment)
•Proven governance capabilities and the ability to manage risk effectively
•Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders
•Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal direction
•Skilled in drafting high-quality correspondence for senior leaders with sound rationale
•Proficient in applying regulatory options to legislative provisions
•Experience in providing policy advice and guidance on matters of regulatory importance
Demonstrated ability to assist in delivering training to support capability on regulatory matters
